Day 7 Paris

Bonsoiur! Today we rode the train back to Paris. The train ride this time was quite different. We had several dogs and cats riding with us. I can tell you one thing France loves their pets! Its not unusual to us anymore when we see them with us eating, riding public transportation or simply shopping ! I wish it was like this back home I def would have a dog they are the ideal accessory lol and not to mention they are extremely well behaved here, I guess they have that french attitude :) Andy and I then grabbed a bite to eat and took a night stroll to the Eiffel Tower. We were able to take pics but the line was way too long to go up, we promised eachother we would try again tommorow. Gotta beat the crowds. Here are the pics of the day!

Day 6 Nice

Today we got lucky! We had lots of sunshine all day. We started the day by going to the famous Castle hill here in Nice. According to the locals it is a must see, and indeed it was! The pictures we were able to take are great. The view of Nice from the top was beautiful. We then went shopping on the avenue Jean Medecin, Its a long busy avenue with millions of stores. As I went in and out of them all, Andy got a little restless being the guy that he his lol, so we went to eat dinner at a bistro and made friends with the host , he had actually been to Miami during Hurricane Andrew ! pretty crazy! We then took a stroll on the beach and started getting ready for tommorow because were headed back to Paris. Ahh Paris! I cant get enough of it!

Nice Day 5

Rain, Rain, GO AWAY!! Apparently we picked the ONE weekend it rains in Nice! LoL. Never fear though, we still are having a great time. We decided to go into town and visit the famous Place Massena and eat around the area. We're so impressed by the quality of food and the service in these little bistros. It's our favorite way of experiencing France! After we ate we got adventorous and took a space ship looking metro mover across all of Nice. We literally rode that thing up and down the city! lol. It's Sunday and most of the things are closed but we still got some good, rainy pics...enjoy!

Day 2 Paris: Eiffel Tower

YAY! we saw the eiffel tower! It was a long cold walk but with Andy's navigating skills, and me taking the map out every 5 seconds, we made there quickly :). We took the stairs all the way to the first level. We plan doing the tippy top at night. We ate some french baguettes under the tower and hot chocalate we desperately needed. Our next adventure was taking a Batobus. A tourboat of the the Sienne River. Most of Paris's main attractions are along this river. We were able to see Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville and the Palace De Elysees. We took a lot of pictures but here is a sneek peak!

Notre Dame- the hunchback was on break

Voila!!!!
Later we had dinner reservations at La Paiva, Note to self: I have the best husband ever! We had escargots, lobster, and champagne with strawberries! So romantical! I LOVE PARIS! Here's a pic our waitor took of us.

Paris

Wow! we finally made it!We arrived to Paris at 8:45 am and were taken down from the plane by a flight of stairs! Scary!! After that we went through customs and got our bags in a matter of 15 minutes! It was awesome! We then got a cab and arrived at our hotel and checked in. The weather is freezing cold and rainy but it hasn't stopped us! We took the tour of the Arc de Triomphe one of Paris main landmarks. It is literally right next to our hotel ! We took a flight of 300 stairs to get to the top. The view was just spectacular!!! We got to see all of Paris from the top and get an idea of all the places we want to visit on our trip. Later we took a stroll down the Champs De Elysee's which is very similar to times square, and got to walk into shoppes like Louis Vuitton AMAZING! I want everything in that store! We then went to dinner in a small bistro Le Brassiere, which was recommended by our new friend Arnie the concierge at our hotel. Expect a pic of him pretty soon(per Andy). The dinner was casual and very scrumptious. French Onion Soup and Skirt Steak Yummo! Enjoy our pics of the day!
